Overview

The LE VITA lamp in black version is a floor lamp from the collection designed by Nahtrang for FARO. Its matte black steel structure pairs with an opal glass diffuser, resulting in soft, even light with no annoying glare. It is a solution designed for those who want ambient lighting without sacrificing a refined design.

This floor lamp is suitable for the living room, bedroom, dining room, or any room where you want to create an independent light source without complex installation work. Its height of 1180 mm gives it a strong presence without taking up too much floor space.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in interior lighting. Its products combine original design with quality materials, and the LE VITA collection is a good example of that balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Installation and specifications

No special tools or electrical work are needed to install this floor lamp. Simply place it on the floor and plug it into a standard outlet. Before plugging it in, make sure the cable is not bent or trapped under any furniture. Place it on a flat, stable surface, away from high-traffic areas where it could be knocked over. Do not install it near direct heat sources or in areas with high humidity, such as the bathroom, unless the environment safely allows it.

To clean the steel structure, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products that could damage the matte black finish. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth to maintain its clarity and light quality. Always unplug the lamp before cleaning it. Do not wet or submerge any part of the luminaire.

Design and use

The LE VITA collection from FARO is built on a clear premise: thin lines, precise materials, and a visual result that does not feel overloaded. This matte black floor lamp follows that same logic. The steel structure has a matte finish that does not reflect ambient light, making it more discreet and easy to combine with different decorating styles. It does not impose; it complements.

The opal glass diffuser is one of the elements that most defines the character of this floor lamp. The glass filters the LED light and distributes it evenly, without the light source being directly visible. This prevents glare and creates a warmer, more balanced atmosphere. At 2700K, the light it emits has a warm tone, similar to that of a classic incandescent bulb, but with a consumption of only 7W.

In the living room, this type of lighting complements a more powerful ceiling lamp very well. While the general light illuminates the space, the floor lamp provides a more intimate second layer, ideal for reading, watching a film, or simply being at home without overly intense lighting. In the dining room, placed next to a sideboard or in a corner, it adds visual depth to the atmosphere.

In the bedroom, a floor lamp with these characteristics can replace a conventional bedside table or complement it. The warm light encourages relaxation and is more pleasant than direct ceiling light before sleep. It also works well in a hallway with some width, where it adds presence without blocking the way.

The living room, study, or even a home workspace are environments where this type of floor lamp fits effortlessly. Its design is not strictly vintage or Nordic, but it has a neutral style that works well with wooden, metal, or dark-toned upholstered furniture. The matte black base and structure visually connect with contemporary kitchen elements, dark hardware, or window frames in the same tone.

The integrated Touch Lamp system allows switching between three light intensities with just a touch of the lamp. There is no visible switch to break the design's clean lines. That same formal discretion is what makes this lamp easy to incorporate into interiors where every detail matters.

With a height of 1180 mm and a base of 200x200 mm, it takes up little floor space but has enough presence to function as a decorative element on its own. The body weighs 4.3 kg, giving it stability without making it difficult to move if you want to change its location.

Questions and answers

Does the Touch Lamp system work to adjust the intensity or only to turn the lamp on and off?

The Touch Lamp system on this lamp allows you to select between three different intensity levels. Each touch changes the light level, making it possible to adapt it to different situations without the need for an external dimmer.

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED light source is already included with the lamp. No additional bulb needs to be purchased to use it from the very first moment.

Is the glass diffuser removable to make cleaning easier?

The opal glass diffuser is part of the lamp's structure. To clean it, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth while the lamp is switched off and unplugged, with no need to remove it.
