Installation and specifications

To install this lamp, make sure the ceiling light point corresponds to the central area of the ceiling plate. The body anchors directly to the ceiling surface using the included fixing elements. Before starting any electrical work, cut the power supply at the breaker box. If you have no experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to hire an electrician. The lamp is suitable for plasterboard, masonry, or wooden ceilings, provided the surface is firm.

To clean the matte black steel body, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. The PMMA diffuser is cleaned in the same way — no scourers or harsh chemicals. Do not handle the lamp while the power is connected, and do not attempt to replace the LED source, as it is integrated into the luminaire body.

Design and use

The VUK ceiling light has a square format of 366 mm per side and only 71 mm in height. This means it rests against the ceiling without taking up unnecessary visual space. For a standard bathroom, those dimensions are proportionate: not too large for a small room, nor so compact that it gets lost in larger spaces. The lamp weighs less than two kilograms, which makes installation easy on any type of ceiling.

The body is made of steel with a matte black finish. It is a solid material that does not deform or deteriorate easily. Matte black, unlike gloss, does not visibly accumulate fingerprints and maintains a clean appearance for longer. This tone fits well with bathrooms in Nordic, industrial, or contemporary styles, and also works as a contrast in lighter interiors.

The PMMA opal diffuser covers the entire bottom surface of the ceiling plate. This type of material disperses light before it exits, so the lamp illuminates evenly without revealing the LED source point. Yes. The lamp has IP44 certification, meaning it is protected against water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for bathrooms, provided the safety zones established by current electrical regulations are observed.

Can the LED source be replaced if it fails?

No. The SMD LED source is integrated into the luminaire body and cannot be replaced by the user. In the event of failure, contact us.

Does the opal diffuser affect the level of illumination reaching the room?

The PMMA opal diffuser disperses the light so that it exits evenly, which slightly reduces the direct intensity but eliminates glare. For a standard-sized bathroom or room, the lamp's 40W is sufficient for functional and comfortable lighting.
