Overview

SEVEN plafón is a ceiling lamp designed for residential spaces where soft and uniform lighting is desired. It mounts directly onto the ceiling surface, with no hanging cables or elements that interrupt the visual line of the space. The result is clean, well-distributed light that does not strain the eyes.

This ceiling light works well in bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, or any room where discreet and functional home lighting is wanted. Its square 400 mm format fits comfortably in medium-sized spaces, and its matte white finish adapts to most modern interiors.

Installation and specifications

To install this ceiling lamp you will need an E27 LED bulb with a maximum power of 15 W, which is not included in the package. Before starting assembly, make sure to cut the power supply at the main panel. The fixture mounts directly to the ceiling using the included anchors. It is recommended to verify that the surface is solid and capable of supporting the weight of the ceiling light. If you have any doubts about the wiring or the ceiling structure, consult an electrician before proceeding.

To keep this lamp in good condition, clean the textile diffuser with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the fabric. Do not exceed the indicated maximum power of 15 W to avoid overheating. This luminaire is designed for indoor use; do not install it in outdoor areas or in spaces with high humidity.

Design and use

The SEVEN plafón model comes from a line already known in pendant format and now arrives in a surface-mounted version. This makes it a practical option for those who want the same visual style but in a format that attaches directly to the ceiling, without additional height. For bedrooms with low ceilings or hallways where a pendant lamp has no place, this ceiling light solves the situation without giving up modern design.

The lamp body is made of steel with a matte white finish. It is a material that gives the structure solidity and keeps the total weight at 1.62 kg, which makes installation on standard ceilings straightforward. The diffuser is made of white textile, and that is one of the most interesting details of this piece: the fabric filters light in a natural way, softening the beam and avoiding bright spots that cause glare. The resulting illumination is diffuse and enveloping, similar to what is achieved with indirect lighting but with a much simpler installation.

The square 400 x 400 mm format works well in bedrooms, kitchens, and dining rooms. In bedrooms, it creates a calm atmosphere without visually overloading the space. In kitchens or dining rooms, it provides sufficient general lighting for everyday activities. This is not high-intensity lighting for precision work, but rather home lighting designed for day-to-day life at home.

The style of this ceiling light is neutral and clean. The matte white of the body and the white of the diffuser allow it to blend effortlessly into Nordic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors. It pairs well with light wood furniture, walls in neutral tones, and other decorative elements without clashing. In modern bedrooms or living rooms with a modern design, it fits naturally without becoming the center of attention.

Compatibility with voltages between 100V and 240V makes it suitable for different markets and electrical systems, which can be useful when purchasing this type of luminaire for an international project or a home with a non-standard installation. The E27 LED bulb is not included, but it is a format widely available in any lighting store. Choosing a warm-temperature bulb will soften the atmosphere even further; a neutral-tone bulb will provide more brightness without losing comfort.

The textile diffuser also adds a visual texture that prevents the lamp from looking completely flat. From below, the fabric has a soft visual effect that sets it apart from the smooth acrylic diffusers typically found in standard ceiling lights. It is a small detail, but it makes a difference in spaces where design matters.

Questions and answers

Is the textile diffuser on this lamp easy to clean without damaging the fabric?

It can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. It is not recommended to use liquid cleaning products directly on the fabric or abrasive cloths, as they could alter the texture or color of the diffuser.

Does this ceiling lamp work with any type of E27 bulb, or are there restrictions?

It works with E27 LED bulbs. The maximum admitted power is 15 W. It is not recommended to exceed that limit, regardless of the type of bulb chosen.

Can the SEVEN ceiling light be installed on a ceiling with a standard junction box, or does it require a special base?

The mounting is directly to the ceiling. It does not require a special base, but it is important that the surface is solid and that the existing wiring is accessible at the installation point. If the junction box has a fixed position, it is worth verifying that it aligns with the center of the ceiling light before making the anchor holes.
