Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. This lamp is fixed to the ground, so it is advisable to plan the cable routing before installing it. If the cable runs underground, it must be protected with a corrugated conduit suitable for outdoor use. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified professional. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the indicated range before connecting.

Use and maintenance. The aluminium body can be cleaned with a damp cloth and, if necessary, with a neutral product. Avoid solvents or abrasive products that may damage the dark grey finish. The PC opal diffuser is cleaned in the same way. Periodically check that the base and connections are in good condition, especially after periods of heavy rain or frost.

Design and use

The TWIST 500 beacon stands 500 mm tall with a square base of 145 x 145 mm. These dimensions make it visible without being bulky. In a garden, it can be placed along a path or at the edges of a planted area to mark the route with a warm, continuous light. On a terrace, it works well near the boundaries of the space, where a ceiling or wall lamp cannot reach.

The body is made of aluminium with a dark grey finish. Aluminium is a material that withstands temperature changes and humidity well, and does not rust like other metals. The dark grey tone is discreet: it does not draw attention during the day, but when night falls and the lamp comes on, the effect of the lattice on the surroundings takes centre stage. The light that passes through the structure projects light and shadow onto the ground and nearby surfaces, creating an atmosphere that no smooth-bodied beacon can replicate.

The diffuser is made of polycarbonate (PC) with an opal finish. This material is impact-resistant and does not become brittle in the cold. The opal finish softens the direct LED emission and avoids the bright spot effect that can be uncomfortable when looking directly at the lamp. The colour temperature is 3000K, a warm white light that is close to the tone of traditional incandescent bulbs. It is a lighting range that creates welcoming atmospheres and is not harsh in outdoor relaxation spaces.

The light source is a 10W SMD LED, included from the factory. You do not need to purchase or install any additional bulb. The supported voltage range runs from 100V to 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid without the need for adapters.

As an outdoor beacon, the TWIST 500 fits well in gardens with abundant vegetation, where the contrast between the grey aluminium and the green looks natural. It also works on paved entrances, outdoor staircases or pool edges, where discreet light marking improves safety at night. In a smaller patio, just one or two units are enough to change the perception of the space when night falls.

Although the design of this lamp is modern, it does not clash with more classic or natural surroundings. The dark grey aluminium adapts to stone, treated wood, ceramic or concrete paving. If the garden or terrace already features other metallic elements in a dark tone, the integration is immediate.

Does the TWIST 500 beacon include the light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The lamp includes the factory-integrated 10W SMD LED. It is not necessary to purchase any additional bulb or carry out any extra installation related to the light source.

Does the dark grey aluminium body require any special treatment to withstand rain or humidity?

No additional treatments are required. Aluminium is a material that does not rust under normal outdoor conditions, and the dark grey finish is designed to maintain its appearance with periodic cleaning using a damp cloth and a neutral product.

What type of ground can this outdoor beacon be anchored to?
