Installation and specifications

To install this bollard it must be fixed to the ground by anchoring. As it is an outdoor luminaire connected to the mains at 220V-240V, the connection work must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting the installation, make sure the circuit is de-energised. It is recommended to plan the underground wiring in advance, especially if the lamp is placed in a garden or patio, to avoid having cables visible on the surface.

For maintenance, simply clean the aluminium body with a slightly damp cloth. The opal glass diffuser may accumulate dust over time; clean it without abrasive products. Solvents or aggressive chemical products should not be used on any part of the luminaire.

Design and use

The SHADOW bollard is 45 cm tall, a measurement that makes it visible without being imposing. It does not interrupt views or compete with the surrounding vegetation or architecture. It is installed at ground level and from there organises the space discreetly, marking pathways or highlighting specific areas of the garden or terrace.

The most distinctive feature of this lamp is its latticed body. The dark grey aluminium structure is crafted so that when the LED light passes through it, shadows are projected onto the ground and nearby walls. The pattern varies depending on the angle from which it is observed and the distance to the surrounding surfaces. It is an effect that requires no configuration or adjustment: it occurs naturally when the lamp is switched on.

The opal glass diffuser softens the output of direct light. This means the light source is not harsh on the eyes, and the warm colour temperature of 3000K provides a gentle tone, similar to late afternoon light.
