Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. The beacon is fixed to the ground via anchoring at the base. Before installing the lamp, it is necessary to prepare the underground electrical connection, as the wiring must come from below. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. Check that the ground is level before securing the base, so that the beacon stands completely vertical. The IP65 rating guarantees protection against rain and moisture, but the electrical connection point must be properly sealed.

Use and care. The aluminium surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the dark grey finish. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser can be cleaned with water and soap. Periodically check that the base is securely anchored, especially if the ground is soft or subject to freeze-thaw cycles.

Design and use

The SCREEN collection brings together outdoor luminaires designed for technical installations where performance matters as much as appearance. This 800 mm tall beacon is a lamp that occupies a discreet space in the garden or patio, yet fulfils a real function: defining pathways, marking edges, illuminating walkways and creating a coherent outdoor atmosphere when night falls.

The body is made of aluminium, a material that withstands temperature changes and continuous outdoor exposure well. It does not oxidise easily and maintains its shape even under demanding conditions. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows light to pass through without excessive filtering, making good use of the 20 W from the included COB LED module. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light, neither warm nor cold, that allows the surroundings to be seen clearly without creating a clinical atmosphere.

The 360-degree option is one of the most practical features of this model. Light is distributed symmetrically around the beacon, eliminating the need to orient the lamp in any particular direction. This simplifies installation and ensures the space is well covered regardless of where the lantern is positioned within the garden.

This lamp has an IP65 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets from any direction. It can be used outdoors without any additional protection, even in areas with frequent rain. The CASAMBI version allows the lamp to be integrated into a smart wireless control system. From an app, it is possible to adjust the operation of several lights at once, create groups or programme on and off schedules. This is especially useful when several beacons are installed along a path or when the garden has different zones that need to be controlled separately.

In terms of design, the profile is straight and clean. The dark grey finish does not stand out excessively during the day and integrates well with materials such as natural stone, exposed concrete, exterior wood or metal. It works equally well in more natural gardens and in environments with a more orderly design, such as terraces with regular paving or building entrances.

The square base of 160 x 160 mm facilitates anchoring and provides sufficient stability for a 4.2 kg piece. The lantern does not move in the wind and requires no frequent maintenance once installed. The LED lamp is included, so there is no need to source a compatible module separately.

In spaces with a nearby swimming pool, the IP65 protection ensures that splashes do not affect operation. It is also suitable for garage entrances, private pathways, landscaped communal areas or any exterior where a powerful, durable and easy-to-control light is needed.

What does it mean that this beacon has the CASAMBI version?

CASAMBI is a wireless control system that allows the lamp to be managed from a mobile app. You can create groups of lights, programme on and off schedules, or adjust the operation of several beacons at once without the need to install a complex home automation system.

Is the IK10 rating sufficient for a frequently used garden?

The IK10 index is the highest level of protection against mechanical impacts that exists in this classification. It means the lamp body withstands impacts of a certain energy without being damaged, making it suitable for areas with foot traffic, use of garden machinery or environments where the lantern may receive occasional knocks.

Is it necessary to purchase the light source separately for this lamp?

No. The 20 W COB LED light source is included with the beacon. There is no need to source an additional module or make any supplementary purchase for the lamp to work from the very first moment.
