Installation and specifications

To install this lamp correctly, it is necessary to prepare the electrical connection point in the ground before fixing it. As an outdoor luminaire with ground mounting, the wiring must be protected and buried in accordance with the electrical regulations applicable in each country. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician or technician. Before connecting the lamp, make sure that the mains voltage is compatible with the indicated 220V–240V. Do not force the fixing elements or modify the original structure of the beacon.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the polycarbonate or the dark grey finish. Periodically check the seals and closure to ensure that the waterproofing remains correct. Do not attempt to open the lamp body without disconnecting it from the mains power supply.

Design and use

The body of the RUSH 800 beacon is made of aluminium combined with polycarbonate. The aluminium provides structural rigidity and resistance to outdoor conditions: temperature changes, humidity and prolonged sun exposure. The polycarbonate, both in the body and in the diffuser, adds lightness and an impact resistance that reaches IK10 level, the highest on this scale. This means the lamp can receive considerable impacts without breaking or losing its functionality.

IP65 protection ensures that neither dust nor pressurised water can penetrate the interior. For a lamp installed in a garden or park, this feature is essential. Heavy rain, automatic irrigation or morning dew do not affect the operation of the luminaire.

The diffuser is transparent, allowing the COB-type LED light to emerge without filters that would make it opaque. The COB source groups several diodes in a small area and generates uniform, clean light. The colour temperature of 3000K produces a warm white, close to traditional incandescent light, which creates a calm atmosphere without feeling cold or clinical. In a garden or patio, this tone adds warmth to the environment without causing glare.

The lamp offers two light distribution options. The 360-degree version emits light in all directions symmetrically, making it a good choice for the centre of a plaza, a garden roundabout or any point where the entire surroundings need to be illuminated. The wide variant projects light with a wider angle in one direction, reaching surfaces at greater distances. This option works well on side paths or linear areas where covering more ground is desirable.

The DALI version allows the beacon to be integrated into more advanced lighting control systems, where the light level can be adjusted from a centralised controller. This facilitates lighting management in installations with multiple luminaires, such as parks or entrances to residential buildings.

The dark grey finish of the beacon is discreet and blends effortlessly into gardens with vegetation, stone paving or urban environments. It does not draw excessive attention during the day, but fulfils its function clearly when night falls. The lantern has a clean, unadorned design that does not look out of place in modern installations or in more natural settings.

What does it mean that the beacon has IP65 protection?

IP65 indicates that the lamp is completely protected against dust and that it resists water jets from any direction. It is suitable protection for outdoor use, including gardens exposed to rain or irrigation systems.

What is the difference between the 360º option and the wide variant of this lamp?

The 360º option distributes light symmetrically in all directions around the beacon. The wide variant projects illumination with a wider angle outward, allowing it to reach areas further from the installation point.

Is the LED light source included with the lamp?

Yes, the lamp includes the 20W COB LED light source. It is not necessary to purchase it separately or carry out any additional bulb installation before putting it into operation.
