PMMA is a material that is stable against the heat generated by low-power LEDs such as those in this model. With normal use and maintenance, the opal diffuser retains its appearance without any appreciable visible changes.

What type of anchor do I need to install this lamp given its weight of almost 16 kg?

Given the net weight of the unit, it is important to use plugs and screws dimensioned for loads at that level. The type of anchor depends on the wall material — concrete, brick, or drywall — and in all cases it is recommended that the installation be carried out by a professional.
