Overview

ROL is a ceiling light designed for those looking for warm lighting without complicating the space. Its compact design and matte white finish make it easy to integrate into any room in the home. It works well in a bedroom, kitchen, hallway, or any room where calm and continuous light is desired, without excessive bright spots.

The lamp already includes an integrated COB LED light source, so there is no need to purchase anything additional to install it and start using it. It emits light at 2700K, a warm temperature that gives a sense of calm and coziness, suitable for both evening hours and daily use. With a maximum power of 30W, it provides sufficient illumination for medium-sized spaces without excessive consumption.

The body combines aluminum and ABS, materials that ensure durability with a lightweight feel. This lamp is manufactured under the standards of FARO, a brand with a long history in the design and production of luminaires for indoor and outdoor use.

Installation and specifications

Before installing this lamp on the ceiling, make sure the electrical circuit is properly cut off from the main panel. As a surface-mounted luminaire, it is fixed directly onto the ceiling base, with no need for a recessed box. Check that the fixing surface is clean, flat, and capable of supporting the weight of the unit. If you have any doubts about the wiring, consult an electrician. The mains voltage must be between 220V and 240V to ensure correct operation.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte white finish. Do not handle the light source while the unit is connected to the mains. As this is a ceiling light for indoor use, it must not be installed in areas directly exposed to rain or intense humidity.

Design and use

The ROL ceiling light has a clean structure, with no ornaments or distracting elements. The matte white finish of the aluminum and ABS body integrates seamlessly into walls and ceilings of the same tone, or contrasts discreetly against darker surfaces. It is a lamp designed to visually disappear into the space while performing its function efficiently.

In the bedroom, this type of lighting works especially well. The 2700K temperature creates a warm atmosphere that suits both the moment of waking up and the time to rest. In small bedrooms, where a pendant lamp might reduce visual height, the ceiling light is the most suitable alternative: it takes up less volume and does not interfere with movement in the room.

In the kitchen, the ROL lamp can be installed over the work area or in the center of the ceiling to achieve uniform general lighting. Its compact profile makes it compatible with spaces where furniture reaches up high or where there are hanging cabinets above the countertop. In a kitchen with a minimalist or Nordic style, the matte white adapts without drawing attention to itself.

For the dining room, this luminaire provides warmth without causing glare. Placed on the ceiling above the table, the warm 2700K light accompanies meals and gatherings well without creating an atmosphere that is too cold or too intense. In spaces where modern design takes center stage, the ROL becomes an element that harmonizes rather than competes with the rest.

The integrated COB LED ensures uniform light distribution from the very first moment. Unlike point light sources, this type of technology illuminates softly and evenly, which is especially useful in rooms with medium or low ceilings. Lights of this type eliminate sharp shadows and improve the perception of space.

The modern design of the ROL is not meant to stand out, but to fit in. In interiors with straight lines, furniture in neutral colors, and matte finishes, this lamp complements without breaking the visual coherence of the whole. If the home style favors the functional and the orderly, this ceiling light responds well to that logic.

In an apartment where space is limited and every element counts, this type of luminaire has concrete advantages: it does not hang, it does not take up volume, and it requires no additional maintenance. It is a practical home solution that does not require replacing the bulb or adjusting anything once installed. Modern integrated lights like this one are designed to last without frequent intervention.

It can also be installed in common areas such as hallways or entryways, where functional lighting is needed without the lamp being the central element of the decoration. In those cases, the discreet and modern design of the ROL is a clear advantage over more elaborate options.

Questions and answers

Is the COB LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The light source is already integrated into the ceiling light. There is no need to purchase any type of bulb or additional accessory to start using the lamp.

Is this ceiling light suitable for installation in a kitchen bar or in areas with humidity?

The ROL is classified as an indoor luminaire. It is not designed for areas with high humidity or for outdoor use. For an open kitchen bar or similar setting, it is advisable to check the conditions of the space before installing it.

Does the aluminum and ABS body affect the total weight of the ceiling light?

The net weight of the item is 0.87 kg, making it lightweight for direct installation on the ceiling. The combination of aluminum and ABS allows the body to maintain its strength without adding unnecessary load.
