Installation and specifications

Design and use

The LUMA S by FARO is built with an aluminium body in a dark grey tone, a material that combines strength with controlled weight. Aluminium does not oxidise easily and withstands temperature changes well, making it a suitable option for outdoor environments where rain, cold or heat are common. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser protects the LED module and allows light to emerge clearly without losing intensity.

It is designed as a hybrid system: it can use solar and electric energy in a combined manner. If the solar charge is sufficient, it operates autonomously. When there is not enough solar accumulation, the electrical grid complements the operation so that the lamp does not run out of light.

Can the motion sensor be deactivated or adjusted?

Yes, the motion sensor on this beacon is configurable. You can adapt it according to your needs so that the lamp reacts in one way or another to motion detection.

Does the dark grey aluminium body maintain its finish well outdoors with frequent rain?

Aluminium is a material that resists humidity well and does not oxidise easily. The dark grey finish is designed for outdoor use, so it withstands typical weather conditions without deteriorating noticeably over time.
